We’ve got some big news. First, you might have noticed that it looks a little different around here. This is our new website, designed by our friend Joel Derksen. The man is a design hero and came to our rescue when it became quite clear that we needed a design expert on hand. He designs, we code. A perfect partnership. Checkout the new logo he made for us at the top of the page—great, right?

Joel is a Canadian designer, currently based in Munich. Before moving to Germany, he worked and studied in Toronto, specializing in a mix of UI and brand design. When he’s not doing the same in Germany, he’s traveling around Europe as much as possible, and working on side projects such as wedding invites for friends near and far.

Something else that’s new is this blog. We used to have separate sites for the company, hearEQ, and LimitList, and no single place to communicate with users and the broader community. No longer! This blog now provides us with a common area for chatting with you about all sorts of stuff:

• general contemplations on running an app company,
• new updates and apps,
• tutorials,
• and various random bits & pieces!

It’s also, perhaps more importantly, a central area for hearing all of your comments. Very excited about this.

Now, that’s big news, but it’s not the big news. But I’ll have to leave that for the next blog.
