Today there’s a new Waay available, and it has one big new feature: syncing. Do a music theory exercise on your phone, then continue on to the next lesson video on your tablet. Progress will sync between the two.

I have watched many YouTube videos and read many music theory websites to start learning music theory but this app was the best, least confusing and most intuitive way to start learning the fundamentals of music theory. I hope they keep releasing more apps so I can keep on learning. I HIGHLY recommend Waay.

How do you get started? Just download the newest update… and that’s it! There’s no login or extra accounts required. Syncing is automatically enabled for new users, and you can toggle it on or off anytime in the sidebar.

Your app has made it really sink in and the practice courses are a great memorization tool. The reminder to play our instrument and use what we’ve learned to write songs is extremely helpful as well. In school it felt very academic and you’ve brought the “play” back in playing and learning about music.

The new update also offers a way to reset all your progress, in case you want to start from scratch. And just in case you regret a recent reset, Waay now saves backups of your progress periodically!

I have tried many other ways to learn music theory on my own and have failed until now. The way this has been explained just clicks in my brain because I can actually see how music theory works with the animated videos. I’m excited to continue understanding my music with this app. Thank you for putting in a way that I can understand!
